Major Changes in the GATE 2025 Exam

Here are some of the major notable updates in the GATE 2025 Exam:

• In the Gate 2025 exam, there are two additional subjects which are Geomatics Engineering (GE) and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Due to this, there are a total of 30 test papers in the exam. 
• Candidates now have the option to select up to 2 test papers from the prescribed combinations. 
• One of the major changes in the eligibility criteria is that candidates need to be 10+2+3 (ongoing) graduates. This allows students in the third year of their undergraduate program to appear for the exam.
